This is the story of the last of the Babylon stations. The year is 2263. The name of the place is Babylon 5.

This organization is dedicated to the understanding of the made-for-television novel "Babylon 5"

It's goal: To create a place where students and friends can meet together to socialize and watch the final season of the television show Babylon 5 together with other people who share the same interest in the show. To bring those people together, so that we can watch the show as a group, and provide input for each other on the long and complex plot.

Anyone may join the Alliance. We accept membership from all races and species. We have plans to meet weekly from about 8:45 to 10:15 every Wednesday night in the Currier Dorm. But no one is anticipated to show up this semester, so give us an e-mail if you want to be sure we get together. The members of this alliance are far apart and it is not convenient for us to meet as a whole group once a week. That is why we have the SDF's. For more info on our meetings check out Blue Sector.

It is the fifth and final season of the television show Babylon 5. I have been a fan since the very beginning, since the pilot was originally shown in syndication in 1993. Since then there have been many changes in the Babylon 5 universe. One thing that hasn't changed much is that I don't know too many people that like the show. This organization was started in order to bring fans closer together so that we may watch the show as a group, as friends, so that we may share our experiences and interpretations of the story.

Since this is the last of the Babylon seasons, it is our last chance to get together and watch the show as it is presented, in real time. It is my hope that we can meet together and enjoy watching the show in the company of others. At it's creating, there were only two or three of us who watch the show at all. A fourth is no longer in the Iowa City area. At Severed Dreams Fest I we had an awesome 8 people show up, quadrupling the number of people I knew of in the Iowa City area who loved B5. If anyone is interested at all, please e-mail me. Membership is not required, there are no fees, nothing is demanded of you. All you have to do is show up.:) I taped many of the reruns last semester, so we will have access to almost the entire series even after they (God forbid) stop reruning it on TNT.

Declaration of Principles -- Interstellar Alliance

The Universe speaks in many languages, but only one voice.
The language is not Narn, or Human, or Centauri, or Gaim or Minbari.
It speaks in the language of hope
It speaks in the language of trust
It speaks in the language of strength and the language of compassion
It is the language of the heart and the language of the soul
But always, it is the same voice
It is the voice of our ancestors, speaking through us,
And the voice of our inheritors, waiting to be born
It is the small, still voice that says:
We are one
     No matter the blood
     No matter the skin
     No matter the world
     No matter the star
We are one
     No matter the pain
     No matter the darkness
     No matter the loss
     No matter the fear
We are one,
Here, gathered together in common cause.
We agree to recognize this singular truth and this singular rule:
That we must be kind to one another because each voice enriches us and
ennobles us and each voice lost diminishes us
We are the voice of the Universe, the soul of creation, the fire that will
light the way to a better future
We are one
We are One.
